You don’t have to go far to see a bundle of wires dangling from a pole that’s already leaning or wires on the ground that really have no specified visible route; it’s either through a fence, in the trenches, through the flowers or peeking out of what those fibre cable ‘manholes’.
Fast internet is great and it’s even greater when unlimited and affordable; the world of fibre optic internet has made all this possible and this is me speaking from experience. However, the image of fibre optic cables recklessly strewn all over makes me wonder if it’s just me who notices this adhoc trend.
We can’t be trying to clean and make our city (and country in general) neat if we don’t have proper standards for setting up fibre optic cables.
